The wait is over… TMB Tuesday Night Rides are BACK. 🚴‍♂️🔥

The first outdoor ride of the 2026 season rolls out tomorrow. After a long winter on trainers and cold miles, it’s finally time to bring the speed back to the road.

Just like last year, the first few weeks will mostly be A+ / A- / B riders. As the weather warms up and the daylight sticks around longer, more groups will start rolling out.

This week’s start times:

A+ 5:20 PM sharp (drop ride)
A- 5:15 PM sharp (drop ride)
B / B+ 5:05 PM sharp (regroup)
C 5:00 PM sharp (no drop)

Early season note: we can’t always guarantee B and C ride leaders the first few weeks.

Just like last year, the first few weeks will mostly be A+ / A- / B riders. As the weather warms up and the daylight sticks around longer, more groups will start rolling out.

⭐️ Looking back, 2025 was full!! And just like every year, there were highs and lows with moments of joy and moments of loss, but what stands out most is the consistency, the effort, and the people who kept showing up for themselves and each other.

We trained hard. Logged miles. 🏆 Earned podiums 🥇 🥈 🥉 and medals. We cheered teammates , welcomed new athletes, celebrated PRs , honored 🕊️ a dear friend, watched kids train and compete alongside their parents, and had the privilege to see many groups come together as one strong community. 🚴 🚴🏼‍♀️ 🚴🏽‍♂️

Tuesday night TMB rides brought the speed, 💨 the laughs, the pizza 🍕 , chips, and even an ice cream truck! And of course Ray always finding a way to make it special for everyone. 👏🏽 👏🏽

Nick has been grinding it out on the crit circuit all summer and Saturday it all came together with a huge WIN at Aubrey Gordon Memorial Criterium! 🏆🚴‍♂️⚡

And because one podium-worthy effort wasn’t enough, Nick turned around the next day and crushed the Medford Lakes Triathlon, finishing 8th overall! 💥🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

TMB was proud to be part of the amazing Tour of Highbridge Criterium 2025! Always an incredible day with our cycling & running community! 🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️🔥 This year’s course brought climbs, fast descents, and zero recovery time with hot sun, big energy, and lots of sweat and smiles.

Huge thanks to @party.size.cycling, @joecampolattano and the crew for making this race happen, Coach @rcampeau1 for showing up and cheering us on- I think one lap he was doing jumping jacks 😂 Special love to @triathlete0482 and family and @toner_3116 for coming out to show their support. 🙌

Weekend Training Ride- 🚴 🚴🏼‍♀️ 🚴🏽‍♂️
We rolled out early from Burnt Mills with a little drizzle but that didn’t stop our crew. We followed our fearless leader through some of Jersey’s finest backroads Whitehouse Station, Round Valley, Frenchtown, and Lambertville.
Bridges, railroads, climbs, and country views… made a good day in the saddle with even better good company. 100 miles and we finished with smiles. 😄💯Nothing but a good time. 🙌

As a 10 year old kid in Brazil, he watched a triathlon for the first time on tv and thought, “I want to do that someday.”

Five decades later—he did.

At 57, with no experience in swimming, cycling, or running, Dante decided it was time to chase that childhood dream. And he didn’t ease in…he went all out:
🏊‍♂️ Couldn’t swim 100m ➡️ self-taught
🚴‍♂️ Never owned a road bike ➡️ bought one and got to work
👟 Running 2 miles was a struggle ➡️ trained daily and kept going
💪 Lost 25 lbs in 5 months, training 6 days a week after work

1️⃣ His first race? JerseyMan

🗓️ That first year? 5 triathlons

⭐️ Favorite Race Moment
A proud 3rd place finish at Long Branch-beating a PR by 7 seconds for his first podium medal. 🏅

🔥 ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT: Mike Read 💥

Mike grew up in a small rural town in southern Michigan with no swim team, no endurance sports, and no sense he’d ever be a “competitive athlete.” Most days were spent golfing, fishing, or riding ATVs… not dreaming of triathlon finish lines.

Fast-forward to now: competing in marathons, 70.3s ,pacing teammates, and an Ironman Finisher 💪

So how did it happen?
🛠 It started during COVID lockdown at age 40. Mike wore out his mountain bike, bought a road bike, and then thought: why not a triathlon?

Swim-Bike-Run Transformation:
🌊 Swimming was brutal. “I was slow, inefficient, just trying to survive each lap.” But he studied, practiced, and kept showing up.
👟 Running hurt. Every phase came with a new “-itis,” but he powered through and now paces others on course.
🚴‍♂️ And biking? He started with 10 miles a day and now he’s always down for a century.

Career + Life:
He moved to NJ in 2004 for work (BMW → Toyota → Genesis) and married Allyson—a Jersey girl, college swimmer, and his #1 supporter. Their two kids now swim competitively, which is full circle for someone who didn’t grow up with an aquatics program in his town.

Race Highlights:
✅ First tri: Tri AC — cotton socks, sandy blisters, BIG smile 😄 across the finish line.
✅ 2023: Happy Valley 70.3, Mt. Tremblant 70.3, NYC Marathon
✅ 2024: JerseyMan, Brooklyn Half, 70.3 Eagleman, and first Ironman 140.6 Maryland

Swim-Bike-Run Transformation:
🌊 Swimming was brutal. “I was slow, inefficient, just trying to survive each lap.” But he studied, practiced, and kept showing up.
👟 Running hurt. Every phase came with a new “-itis,” but he powered through and now paces others on course.
🚴‍♂️ And biking? He started with 10 miles a day and now he’s always down for a century.

Career + Life:
He moved to NJ in 2004 for work (BMW → Toyota → Genesis) and married Allyson—a Jersey girl, college swimmer, and his #1 supporter. Their two kids now swim competitively, which is full circle for someone who didn’t grow up with an aquatics program in his town.

He’s a fearless climber known for launching attacks on Tuesday nights , a trusted mechanic with a reputation that clients ask for him by name at Trek and a supportive team mate who’s helped so many of us chase our own goals with his bike specialist skills.

@triathlete0482 and @brianrosener knocked out the 100 miler Leadville MTB which has over 13,000 feet of elevation

@hollyberry0913 finished 3rd age at Ironman Ireland after getting 3 flats on the bike

@rpcv96 did SBT Gravel blue course which is another 100 miler with over 7,000 feet of elevation.

@twoms359 was 2nd age at the Lavalette Ocean Swim

@b.winzenburg 2nd age at the Brookville Olympic.

Life right now is pretty much like the Oregon trail- monitor your health, ration food, and toilet paper... in all seriousness though, we’ve been getting a bunch of emails on the races (Jerseyman Tri & J-Man swim). Health and safety are the top priorities of ours. We are continuing to monitor the guidelines of the government and CDC on whether we can have this event.
